The client and architect came up with a design that maximised natural lighting and importantly made the most of the garden view. Considering the original layout this new open plan design really makes a difference to the whole feel of the house.
The work was carried out with the clients living in the house and every effort was made to accommodate them, from setting up a temporary kitchen to keeping the AGA running (which now powers the underfloor heating).
